Where We Eat Near Cobbly Nob
Downtown Gatlinburg has no shortage of places to eat. But some of our favorite meals in the Smokies have been a few minutes from the cabin, at places where the coffee keeps coming and nobody's in a hurry. Here's where we send our guests.
For Dinner and a Drink
Split Rail Eats
A neighborhood bar and restaurant in the heart of the Arts & Crafts Community, with great food, craft beer on a self-pour wall, and attentive service. It's the place we go when nobody wants to cook but everybody wants a good meal.
Cobbly Nob Pizza Cafe
Part pizza joint, part general store, with generous toppings on a homemade crust. It's a convenient go-to for a game-room pizza night or the forgotten grocery item.
For Breakfast and Lunch
Trish's Mountain Diner
A charming, down-home diner known for hearty breakfasts and lunches, generous portions, and unlimited coffee refills. Fuel up here before a day on the trail.
Hometown Heroes Subs
A local sandwich shop in the Arts & Crafts Community, best known for its Italian sub and friendly, accommodating service. Grab a few to go and you've got a trail lunch sorted.
For Coffee
Bloom & Berry Coffee House
A sister-owned coffee shop on East Parkway, right on the road between the cabin and downtown. Loved for creative specialty drinks, fresh pastries, and genuinely friendly service.
Painted Bear Coffee Co.
A family-owned log-cabin coffee shop and art gallery serving artisanal coffee and tea alongside local handmade crafts. Plan to linger.
Stay Close to It All
The Smoky Edit is a renovated three-level log cabin in Cobbly Nob, close to the Arts & Crafts Community and about twenty minutes from downtown Gatlinburg. Private hot tub, two fire pits, a game room, and a kitchen with two coffee bars, for the mornings you'd rather stay in.
